This Term is another busy term for the Sensory/Music Program. We are so very lucky to have the wonderful artist team from Sensorium collaborating with our students as they develop ideas for their new fourth show “Wonderbox”! Students will be playing with and exploring the themes of CURIOSITY, CHOICE, WONDER and CELEBRATION. The reception from students and staff alike has been very positive thus far. It is so WONDER-full to see this special and unique partnership between Kenwick School and Sensorium Theatre in action!
We are also starting the Noongar 6 Seasons Mural Project in week 5. Local artists Dennis and Michelle Kickett from Wilura Designs will be taking up residency in the school every Monday and Friday over terms 3 & 4, working with the students to create a mural depicting a journey through the 6 seasons specific to Whadjuk boodja (the local country of the Whadjuk people).
