Students in Room 16 continue to work hard on their curriculum subjects and build their work and social skills at our school.
The class gardening projects continue to go well, with students growing butter beans for their ASDAN course.
Every week is very busy, and about to get busier, with regular community access excursions planned to Foodbank and the local library.
Students bowl every Monday, complete work skills Tuesday’s, cook on Wednesday’s and also enjoy Amity’s fun Sensory programs. Thursday’s include swimming and Friday’s combined sports, including training for the upcoming AFL carnival, and the end of the week celebration Dance Party. At the end of the week, both staff and students leave for the weekends very tired but happy.
